The world of suppressors seems to exponentially expand year after year, and judging from the 2017 SHOT Show, that trend is continuing comfortably—and it may lead to an explosion of new models if the Hearing Protection Act ultimately passes, but that’s a different story.
One of the newest players in the silencer game is the well established and trusted gear company BLACKHAWK!, which is most known for its duty holsters, tactical accessories, and concealed carry apparel—along with various lines of shotgun and rifle stocks and grips.
The company has gone all in this year, releasing a full line of seven new suppressor models at SHOW Show 2017 that can accommodate rifles and pistols chambered in everything from .22LR (in full-auto if you so desire) to .338 Lapua Mag.

BLACKHAWK! says their new cans—with names like Smoke Stack, Pulse, Carnivore, and Mini Boss—offer superior decibel reduction and feature a distinctive patent-pending hexagonal pattern on their exterior surfaces that definitely sets them apart visually from other suppressors on the market.
Since the new line is being produced in partnership with SilencerCo, one of the biggest suppressor manufacturers in the world, several BLACKHAWK! suppressors utilize SilencerCo’s popular and easy-to-find quick-detach mounts.
Here’s a little info on each model:
Pulse

The Pulse is the smallest suppressor of the line is rated for use with all rimfire ammunition and .22 Hornet and is rated for full-auto fire with .22LR. The Pulse connects via a 1/2 x 28 direct thread pitch. MSRP: $389.95
Smoke Stack

The Smoke Stack is a direct thread suppressor that can handle up to .45 ACP pistol loads and sub-sonic .300 BO loads. BLACKHAWK! says multiple pistons will be available for use with the Smoke Stack on pistols with tilting barrels, but it doesn’t come with one in the box. MSRP: $849.95
Mini Boss

Short an squat, the Mini Boss was designed especially for 9mm and .300 BO chambered guns in mind, including super-sonic .300 BO loads. MSRP: $799.95
Barrage

The Barrage is a .22-caliber suppressor intended for use with AR-platform and designed to primarily play well with 5.56 NATO-chambered semi-auto rifles with a QD mount. The remarkable thing about the Barrage is its weight—at just 12.5 ounces, it’s one of the lightest suppressors in its class. MSRP: $699.95
Gas Can

The Gas Can is a .30-caliber suppressor intended for use with semi-auto firearms. It can handle 5.56, 7.62 and all the way up to a .300 Win. Mag. load and will be available in both QD and direct-thread variants. MSRP: $1,050
Carnivore

The Carnivore is the other .30-cal suppressor of the line designed specifically for use in bolt guns. It’s longer and more narrow than the Gas Can and is rated for use with loads up to .300 Win Mag. And note the very attractive price tag. MSRP: $680.
Wrath

Last is the Wrath, a .33-caliber can that can handle any centerfire rifle cartridge up to and including the .338 Lapua Mag. The biggest can of the line, the Wraith will be offered in both QD and direct-thread configurations. MSRP: $1,400.
All BLACKHAWK! suppressors come with a limited lifetime warranty. They are expected to hit stores by the end of the 1st quarter or the beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2017,
