The new Ruger GP100 has a 10-round cylinder chambered for .22LR, the first in the GP100 double-action revolver line.

For many plinkers and target shooters, Ruger is the be-all and end-all. And they just got three more sweet rimfire options for the holidays: an all-new wheelgun, plus new versions of a semi-auto pistol and rifle.

The new GP100 is a 10-round revolver chambered in .22LLR, a first for the GP100 line, with features that will appeal to target shooters and small-game hunters alike.

According to, the all-stainless GP100 has a 5.5-inch, half-lug barrel with an improved fire control system using a lighter mainspring than previous Ruger double-action .22 revolvers.

The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation with a white outline. It’s paired with a light-gathering fiber-optic front sight. It’s finished off with full-size rubber grips with hardwood inserts. MSRP: $829.

The new Ruger SR22 long-slide version adds an inch of barrel and slide to the regular SR22 semi-auto pistol.

Next up is a new long-slide version of Ruger’s popular SR22 pistol. The semi-auto handgun is identical to the standard SR22, but comes with a barrel that’s an inch longer at 4.5 inches and a similarly extended slide. These changes provide a different balance to the gun, both visually and in the hand, according to this story from MSRP: $439.

The new Ruger 10/22 Takedown rifle has a target bull barrel that comes threaded for a suppressor.

The barrel and fore-end of the rifle easily separate into two subassemblies like other 10/22 Takedown models and is shipped with a padded carrying case for easy transport. As 5.5 pounds and a length of only 20.25 inches when disassembled, this will be an easy rifle to take anywhere. It utilizes the standard 10/22 action and rotary magazine (one included). MSRP: $629
