Laser sights on a handgun help us shoot fast and accurately. They are also great training tools, because they reveal pistol shake and other imperfections in vivid color. So Crimson Trace, a company long known for innovation, decided to make laser grips for revolvers that also tackle felt recoil, and the Lasergrip with ShockStop with was born.
The ShockStop is a grip with soft, anti-vibration material that makes shooting a handgun more comfortable. Along with the felt-recoil-reducing material built into the front and rear segments of the grip, there’s also a specially engineered bridged section inside the grip’s rear portion that aids control and reduces recoil. It results in a more shooter-friendly self-defense firearm.
Laser grips with ShockStop are now available for Smith & Wesson J-Frame (Round Butt) revolvers. These grips have a front laser activation button, and have over four hours of power from two 2032 Lithium batteries. You can see a video of Crimson Trace’s ShockStop System below:
