The newest open-world game from developer Ubisoft is due to be release on March 27. Far Cry 5 looks be something quite different, as it takes place in fictional Hope County, Montana.

A preacher there named Joseph Seed has risen to prominence. Seed believes that he has been chosen to protect the people of Hope County from an “inevitable collapse” and has established a congregation called Eden’s Gate. Ostensibly, this is to fulfill his mission of leading the people to salvation;[9] in reality, Seed is a radical preacher and Eden’s Gate is a militaristic doomsday cult.

The setting provides the opportunity for players to interact with a host of wildlife, such as a dog that will fetch guns from bad guys for you, or even bears who you can make do your bidding.

From the gameplay trailer, it looks like there is an impressive host of firearms as well. At one point, you even get to use a compound bow.

The FPS game also offers a bunch of changes from previous entries in the series. You can recruit locals to help you on your tasks, tame wild animals, customize your character, and even create maps of your own with an included map editor.

Far Cry 5 will be released for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on March 27.

And if you see some gear and clothes in the game trailers that look familiar, don’t worry, you’re not seeing things.

5.11 Tactical announced this week that it is continuing its partnership with Ubisoft for Far Cry 5, lending its apparel and gear to the game and its in-game character customization options.

This is a first for the series, but not for Ubisoft. The two companies recently collaborated for 2016’s popular Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands release.

From 5.11:

“5.11’s 2016 product integration in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands broke ground connecting the worlds of gaming and real-life tactical by providing gamers with the same 5.11 purpose-built products that are used by tactical professionals every day.”

While Wildlands featured a bevy of the company’s more tactical offerings, including packs and plate carriers, Far Cry 5 looks to feature some of the company’s more every-day clothing options.

“The assortment of 5.11 products featured in Far Cry 5 includes: Sidewinder Flannel Shirt, Stryke Long Sleeve Shirt, H.R.T. Titanium Watch, Station Grip Gloves, Sabre Jacket 2.0™, Cable Hiker Boot, Rapid Half Zip, Multicam® Flag Bearer Cap, All Hazards Nitro Backpack, Men’s Taclite M-65 Jacket, and Men’s Sierra Softshell,” the company said.
