Federal Premium has announced it will be releasing a new ammunition line, Gold Medal Berger, using some of the most popular bullets on the market in the Precision Rifle Series, including a 6.5 Creedmoor load.

The company says shipments of the new ammo are currently making their way to dealers.

The new Gold Medal Berger loads feature an advanced boat-tail bullet with a high ballistic coefficient to provide the flattest trajectories, less wind drift and “surgical long-range accuracy.”

The new loads use Gold Medal match primers to squeeze the most performance out of the bullet design, along with Federal brass and a specially formulated propellant.

The new loads will be available in these caliber and bullet combinations:

  • .223 Remington with 73-grain Berget BT Target bullets (MSRP: $32.95)

  • 6.5 Grendel with 130-grain Berger Hybrid OTM bullets (MSRP: $34.95)

  • 6.5 Creedmoor with 130-grain Berger Hybrid OTM bullets (MSRP: $34.95)

  • .308 Winchester with 185-grain Berger Juggernaut OTM bullets (MSRP: $34.95)
