The standard argument goes that rifle ammo will tear through drywall like crazy, whereas less speedy handgun bullets would be stopped by building materials more readily, but is that how it works? We set up a course mimicking common household walls constructed of drywall to see what exactly happens to bullets from a handgun and a rifle, and a slug from a shotgun, as they start going through layer after layer.
