Female Shooters Featured in New TV Show

"Lady Hot Shots," a new show all about female shooters, is coming to the Sportsman Channel in January, serving as more proof that women are becoming an ever-larger piece of the shooting world.

This spinoff of "Hot Shots," the popular show on the same network, is currently filming. It's being billed as "the first-ever shooting sports reality series that's 100% dedicated to the women of the shooting sports."

The show will follow female shooters of all skill levels for ten episodes as they compete for a spot in the Lady Hot Shots Championship, which will comprise the season finale.

The show is plainly meant to showcase the fast-growing segment of the firearms industry.

The series will debut on the Sportsman Channel as "Hot Shots" airs its fifth season. "Lady Hot Shots" will be rebroadcast on TheBlaze TV in the summer of 2016.

"Hot Shots" premiered on NBC Sports before the network cut its gun-related programming and it moved to the Sportsman Channel.
