If you hadn't already heard, the Hollywood sequel machine is cranking out a reboot of some kind for the Terminator series in 2019. It was rumored that Linda Hamilton would be returning to play Sarah Connor for the first time since Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991).
In the shots from the filming of Terminator 6 we see Hamilton with a short, mostly white hairdo and outfitted in a black t-shirt with OD green pants and a matching plate carrier. The only things attached to her vest are what look like a couple prop smoke grenades. She's also rocking Sarah's signature aviator sunglasses and a toned physique (especially considering the actress turns 62 this year).
There is little known about the new Terminator film, other than apparently the idea comes from James Cameron himself, who has not been involved in the recent sequels. The project is being directed by Tim Miller, who helmed the wildly successful Deadpool (2016).
But, it's no known yet if the new Terminator film will pick up after Terminator 2, or 3, or if it will somehow incorporate the disparate threads in Terminator: Salvation or Terminator: Genysis.
Hamilton played the ultra badass Sarah Connor in The Terminator (1984) and in Terminator 2 (1991). The role was played by Lena Headey of Game of Thrones fame in the short-lived but revered TV show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008-2009).
In 2015's Terminator Genisys, a young Sarah Connor was played by Emelia Clarke, also of Game of Thrones fame, but her performance, and the entire film, was poorly received by critics and fans of the series.
