This fourth-grader not only loves shooting steel, but just finished her first competition. She also happens to be the daughter of champion shooter Julie Golob.
In the video above, NRA TV caught up with Julie and her daughter, Madeleine, while competing a the NSSF’s World Rimfire Championships.
Madeleine used a customized Smith & Wesson Victory in .22LR and said the only thing she didn’t like about the experience of her first competition was all the waiting involved.
Julie Golob holds one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal and seven Ladies Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championship gold medals. She also holds two US IPSC Nationals Lady titles and 13 USPSA Handgun Nationals Lady titles, and is the only seven Division USPSA National Champion in history.
