The free Where to Shoot app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play and will point you to ranges wherever you’re located. It’s updated frequently with range information in every U.S. state and Canadian province. You can search for ranges by location or zip code and find specifics about each range, including types of shooting supported, accessibility, instruction, directions and contact information. New tips for hunters and shooters are also added regularly.
Meanwhile, Leupold & Stevens, Inc., recently launched a free Mount Systems app to you quickly and easily find the rings and bases that are right for your firearms. Just select your make and model of firearm, then choose the type of riflescope you are trying to mount. Depending on the riflescope selected you might be asked a few other questions, such as finish type, ring height, and whether or not they require adjustable bases. After providing the answers, you are given the correct mounting information. The Leupold Mount System app’s database includes 386 firearms from 54 manufacturers and provides 40,955 mounting options.
