You will likely see some new blue-tinted Federal boxes in the ammo aisle soon, and there’s a very good reason for the new hue.

The company recently announced a new special-edition line of American Eagle handgun training ammo. A portion of the proceeds from each box will go to Concerns Of Police Survivors (COPS), an organization that helps support the families of fallen law enforcement officers. The special packaging will only be available for a limited time.

“New shooters can get the most from every training session and honor those who’ve laid down their lives in the line of duty,” said Handgun Product Line Director Jason Nash. “We’re proud to partner with C.O.P.S. to support families of law enforcement officers.”

The ammunition, which is clearly labeled with a shield that says “Support families of fallen officers” on the front, consists of high-quality brass, consistent primers, and accurate FMJ bullets, making them great for range practice.

They also provide ballistics and recoil similar to that of duty rounds, so that your training is as realistic as possible.

The limited edition American Eagle C.O.P.S. will be available in 115-grain 9mm ($17.99/box), 180-grain .40 S&W ($24.99/box), and 230-grain .45 ACP ($30.99/box).
