One thing is obvious—Crimson Trace sure isn’t just a laser sight company anymore.
In the past they’ve had a gun light and a couple laser/light combos in their lineup, but with a host of gun lights in their catalog, and now a brand new line of red dot sights, the brand is certainly growing.
CTC has released five new red dot sights for handguns and long guns that are designed to meet the needs of 3-gun competitors, home defenders, hunters, and recreational firearms enthusiasts alike, according to the company.
The line includes several field of view and reticle choices and they’re built to be compatible with the majority of firearms and mounting systems on the market.
While the specs and images of the sights have been released, the products aren’t expected to hit stores or to ship from online stores until November.
“This new line of red dot sights offers consumers high-quality optics products from a name they trust,” said Lane Tobiassen, President of the CTC and American Outdoor Brands Corporation Electro-Optics Division “We are very excited to introduce this new product line, which has been carefully engineered and designed to meet the needs of consumers seeking quality and performance.”
All the sight are night vision compatible, provide excellent light transmission, and are designed to be waterproof. With the lowest MSRP set at $199, there’s something int he line to accommodate all buyers.
All sights also have adjustable brightness levels and are shock-resistant, dust-proof, and fog-proof, and are covered under the company’s Free Batteries for Life program.
Here are the details on all six new red dot sights. A CTS-1300 just showed up on my doorstep yesterday and I will be putting it through it’s paces soon, so expect a close look at that and at the company’s new gun light line, which you can see here.
