Savage to Debut 40 New Products at SHOT Show 2019

From competition ARs to plinkers to turkey guns, there's a bit of everything in these new releases.

Savage is celebrating its 125th anniversary by unveiling over three-dozen new products at he 2019 SHOT Show, including a number of limited-edition rifles.

The 40 new models being introduced this year include an expansion to the company’s popular XP line of scoped rifles. New models include the 110 Apex XP series, featuring Vortex scopes, and a pint-sized Rascal Target XP. The existing AXIS series has been upgraded with a modernized stock with new looks and improved ergonomics, and the company has added more AXIS and AXIS II rifles sold as base models so hunters can purchase their optics of choice.

Savage’s AccuFit system lets shooters quickly adjust comb height and length-of-pull for a personalized fit. The feature is an integral part of a new long-range rifle, the 110 High Country. For long-range, precision and competition shooters that favor semiautos, Savage’s MSR 15 and MSR 10 rifle lines continue to expand with new options. All deliver accuracy, performance and a full suite of custom upgrades packaged as standard features.

Recoil-adverse turkey hunters can rejoice at the new specialized single-shot turkey gun designed for use with Federal’s .410 HEAVYWEIGHT TSS turkey loads. Speaking of gobblers, the Accufit system will be found on two new bolt-action turkey shotguns. Sub-bore scattergun fans will also enjoy the new 16-gauge 555 Enhanced over-and-under. And those looking for more utilitarian fare can look forward to major stock upgrades on the Stevens 320 Security and Field Grade pump-action shotguns, said to improve the reliable platform’s look and feel.
