Shooting an AK-47 in Full Auto
No machine gun roundup is complete without the humble AK.
For more full-auto videos, go here No machine gun roundup is complete without the humble AK. An old man of a rifle, born in 1946, it has been used and abused across the globe, but is still shooting. Unlike the machine pistols, rimfires and MP5s we shot during my time in Florida gun heaven, the AK in full kick-ass mode was extremely hard for me to control.
The only gun worse was the full auto Saiga 12, which I dubbed Smuckers ‘cause it was an absolute jam factory.
In all seriousness, it was neat to have a hands-on full auto AK experience, and rip off 30 rounds of 7.62×39mm in 2.1 seconds.
NOTE: This rifle is a Chinese-made Poly Tech AK-47.
