Smith & Wesson M&P Goes Kryptek
A Smith & Wesson M&P Bodyguard 380 with an Integrated Crimson Trace Laser and a Kryptek Typhon finish. The entire M&P line is now offered with the Kryptek finish on the frame.

Smith & Wesson’s popular M&P series of pistols are now available in a Kryptek Typhon Finish from TALO Distributors, Inc.

Kryptek, known for its camo designs, says its “bi-level layering of the patterns incorporates background transitional shading and sharp random geometrical foregrounds to create a three-dimensional effect that ensures the utmost in concealment.”

I had to stand in line to handle some Typhon-finished M&Ps at the NRA Show earlier this month. They felt good in my hands and look cool in a stealthy sort of way. Whatever the process, the effect does make people stop and look.

The new M&P option is available for calibers from .22 LR to .40 S&W in both full-size and compact models, which include the M&P 9 (full-size and compact), M&P 40 (full-size and compact), M&P Bodyguard 380 with and without an internal Crimson Trace laser, and the M&P 22 Compact.
