Break the Bouncing Bunny

Many clays shooters find the the rabbit target difficult to hit because it moves so unpredictably—but shotgun expert Phil Bourjaily has one great tip to help you Make That Shot!

If you've been to the clays range, and you've never shot a rabbit target, you should definitely try it. A clay target bouncing and rolling along the ground is one of the most difficult targets to hit for a lot of shooters because it can move quite erratically, as if it has a mind of it's own, hence the name. It's a great way to broaden your shotgun skills and become a better shot for hunting applications—it's also a fun deviation from typical airborne target trajectories. In this episode of Make That Shot!, shotgun expert and instructor Phil Bourjaily shows you how to master the rabbit target.
